After stunting for two days with the sounds of birds chirping, Hubbard Radio moved the former Rhythmic CHR “Beatz 96.3” W242CI Jupiter/WMBX-HD2 Jensen Beach FL to Mainstream CHR as “Party 96.3“.
The station will carry the syndicated Brooke & Jubal morning show, which was previously heard on sister Country 103.1 WIRK until earlier this year. The new format places the station in direct format competition with iHeartMedia’s “Wild 95.5” WLDI.
The new format launched at 3pm with the first three songs being Khalid “Talk”, Shawn Mendes & Camilla Cabello “Señorita” and Drake “Nice For What”.

Original Report 7/9: Hubbard Radio has dropped the Rhythmic CHR format of “Beatz 96.3” W242CI Jupiter/WMBX-HD2 Jensen Beach FL and is currently stunting with the sounds of birds chirping.
The Beatz format debuted in June 2015 as a flanker to sister Urban AC “X 102.3” WMBX and Adult CHR 97.9 WRMF. It served as the West Palm Beach affiliate for the syndicated Breakfast Club in mornings and Dana Cortez Show in afternoons.
Interspersed with the stunting of birds chirping are sweepers giving out a telephone number asking listeners to call in if they’re having “technical difficulties” by hearing the birds.
In the May 2019 Nielsen Audio ratings the station registered a 1.0 share of the West Palm Beach market.
