After promoting a “new sound” to debut this morning, Cumulus Media Classic Rock “Rock 100.5” WNNX College Park/Atlanta GA shifted its music in a harder, current direction with a move to Active Rock.
The first five songs following the relaunch wer Disturbed “Are You Ready”, Guns N Roses “Sweet Child Of Mine”, Five Finger Death Punch “Blue On Black”, Red Hot Chili Peppers “Give It Away”, and AC/DC “Shook Me All Night Long”.
No on-air lineup changes have been made with the musical shift as the station retains Bailey & Southside in mornings, Lyndsey Marie in middays and Program Director Axel Lowe at night. Afternoons have been vacant since the exit of Jesse Kage in July.

The planned changes follow the return of Axel Lowe to the station last month as Program Director. WNNX ranked 18th in the Atlanta market with a 2.2 share in the July 2019 Nielsen Audio ratings.
