After stunting for a day with all-Elton John, Saga Communications has relaunched Soft AC “More 104” KMYR Ames/Des Moines IA as “104.1 EZ-FM” KOEZ.
The change had been expected since the call letter change took place at the end of September. The station previously used the “EZ” moniker back in the 80s and 90s until it was sold to Saga in 1997 and became “Lite 104.1” KLTI. The station then became “More 104” in March 2014 with an aborted move to a younger skewing AC presentation.
The all-day Elton John stunt was tied to John announcing a 2020 concert in Des Moines.
