Entercom CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP Los Angeles has revised its weekday lineup.
Moving to mornings to join Chelsea Briggs are afternoon host Chris Booker and part-time host Krystal Bee. Booker has hosted afternoons at KAMP since the station’s launch in 2009 and previously worked at “Q102” WIOQ Philadelphia, “92.3 K-Rock” WXRK and “Blink 102.7” WNEW New York among others. Bee joined KAMP in 2018 after previously serving as midday and morning co-host at Rhythmic CHR “Power 106” KPWR from 2011-2018.
Christen will move from weekends to middays as Yesi Ortiz slides from middays to the 3-7pm slot. Ortiz, who joined KAMP in 2018 after a long run at KPWR, also serves as Music Director. McCabe will remain in evenings.
With the lineup change, Edgar ‘Shoboy’ Sotelo exits. Sotelo joined KAMP in January 2018 after previously hosting mornings at “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York until their format change to Alternative. His exit follows the departure of co-host Brian Moote in August.
