Cumulus Media Country “102.7 Nash-FM” WXBM Pensacola FL has announced the addition of Adam ‘Kash’ Kashner as Program Director and promotion of afternoon host Matt Fisher to APD.
Kashner joins WXBM from the Assistant Program Director position at Cumulus Country 95.5 WFMS Indianapolis. He has been with WFMS since 2012 and has moved up from promotions coordinator to Programming Assistant to Music Director and then APD.
Fisher, who joined WXBM in July 2018 as afternoon host, will take the APD slot. He previously spent sixteen years in Storm Lake IA where he programmed Country “92.9 The Moose” KKIA and Hot AC “Mix 101.7” KAYL for Community First Broadcasting.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Adam “Kash” Kashner as Program Director for Country radio station WXBM-FM/NASH 102.7 FM in Pensacola, FL, and has promoted WXBM Afternoon Host, Matt Fisher, to Assistant Program Director for the station.
Kashner heads to Cumulus Pensacola from Cumulus Indianapolis, where he was Assistant Program Director for Country station WFMS-FM. He joined Cumulus Indianapolis in 2012 as a part-time promotions coordinator and steadily climbed the ranks into programming, first as a Programming Assistant followed by Music Director. He was named Assistant Program Director of WFMS-FM last summer.
Fisher is WXBM’s popular Afternoon Host, airing weekdays from 3pm-7pm. He joined WXBM in July 2018 after a long run of programming a three-station cluster in Storm Lake, IA.
