As previously announced, Adams Radio launched Variety Hits “103.9 Wayne-FM” at 6pm on Christmas night as the station ended its five and half year old Soft AC format.
Positioned as “We Play Everything”, the station will run jockless with James Justice serving as the voice of Wayne.

Original Report 12/19: Adams Radio Soft AC “103.9 Sunny-FM” WWFW Fort Wayne IN will debut a new format on Christmas night as it will relaunch as Variety Hits “103.9 Wayne-FM“.
The changeover will take place at 6pm on the 25th as WWFW ends its annual Christmas music run. The new format will flank sister Classic Rock 96.3 WXKE against the pair of Rock leaning Classic Hits stations in the market: Federated Media’s “Big 92.3” WFWI and Sarkes Tarzian’s “Classic Hits 101.7” WLDE.
in the Spring 2019 Nielsen Audio ratings, WWFW held a 1.0 share of the Fort Wayne market.
