Following the departure of Shawn Parr from “Nash Nights Live” at the end of 2019, Cumulus Media’s Westwood One will replace the program with “Nights with Elaina”
The rebranded show will continue to be hosted by Elaina Smith. Smith has co-hosted Nash Nights Live since its January 2014 debut after previously co-hosting mornings at CHR 107.1 WAOA Melbourne FL and serving as a producer for Dave, Shelley and Chainsaw at 100.7 KFMB-FM San Diego. Smith also hosts the weekly “With Elaina” for Westwood One, Women Want to Hear Women podcast, Westwood One Backstage red carpet programs, and is the voice of the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Westwood One describes the new show as “a fast-paced escape from the craziness of the day, a place to laugh, get real and have fun, listener interaction, and, most importantly, listen to great music alongside the biggest names in Country music.”
CUMULUS MEDIA’s Westwood One announces a new syndicated radio show, Nights with Elaina, hosted by award-winning radio and podcast host Elaina Smith, launching on February 3, 2020. Nights with Elaina will be a fast-paced escape from the craziness of the day, a place to laugh, get real and have fun, listener interaction, and, most importantly, listen to great music alongside the biggest names in Country music.
Elaina has become one of the strongest female presences in Country Radio, having hosted shows in San Diego, Florida, and on over 100 stations simultaneously on NASH Nights Live, as well as hosting the syndicated weekend show, With Elaina and the award-winning podcast Breaking Thru with Elaina. Elaina is laser-focused on bringing her listeners as close as possible to Nashville and their favorite country personalities; she has interviewed more artists and performers than most broadcasters do in their entire career.
