Ray Horner’s morning show will remain in place, while the station will continue to serve as the Akron affiliate for Cleveland Indians baseball, Cleveland Cavaliers basketball, and Ohio State University basketball and football.
Midday host Jasen Sokol is joining John Carroll University’s 88.7 WJCU University Heights/Cleveland as Station Director. Also exiting the station are afternoon hosts Sam Bourquin and Brad Russell, evening host Ben Thomas, and producer Aaron Coleman.
While the format change has not taken place yet, the station’s RDS is already identifying with the new branding.
