Following the exit of longtime morning host Lisa Taylor, Cumulus Media Country “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX Fort Worth/Dallas has tabbed Brian Moote and Tara as their new morning hosts.
Moote most recently co-hosted mornings at Entercom CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP Los Angeles until his exit last August. He has also worked in mornings at “Click 98.9” KLCK Seattle and was part of the syndicated Bert Show for two years. He is also a touring stand-up comic.
Tara crosses the street from mornings at iHeartMedia Hot AC “102.9 Now” KDMX where she has spent the past nine years. Tara previously spent ten years as morning co-host at KPLX from 1998-2008 and began her career as a producer for the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show.
The “All New Wake Up With The Wolf” debuted this morning.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces the launch of The All-New Wake Up With the Wolf Show weekday mornings on Country radio station KPLX/99.5 The Wolf in Dallas, TX. The new morning show features co-hosts Brian Moote and Tara and airs weekday mornings on 99.5 The Wolf from 5:00am-10:00am.
Moote was previously co-host of the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Bert Show”, and was most recently co-host of mornings on Top 40 station AMP 97.1 in Los Angeles. Brian has toured the U.S. as a stand-up comedian, and was a cast member and writer on MTV’s “Money From Strangers”. Tara was previously part of the Wolf morning show for 10 years, from 1998 through 2008. Most recently, she was host of the morning show on NOW102.9 in Dallas.
