William Wachter’s One Media is acquiring the 60 percent of Blue Sky Media’s Classic Hits 105.7 KRDR Alva OK it does not own for $90,000. The payment will be made to a pair of banks for payment of loans made. The deal buys out station partners Matt Adair, Clint Claypole and Terry Ross.
Frank Neely’s RFPJY LLC sells R&B Oldies 95.3 WYPJ Due West SC to Douglas Sutton and Terry Carter’s Lake Hartwell Radio for $280,000. Neely concurrently filed a Silent STA to take the station off the air to prevent further financial losses until the sale closes. WYPJ had applied last year to modify its facilities which Lake Hartwell Radio had filed a Petition To Deny as it would have been short spaced to their rulemaking applications to add new facilities on 95.5 in Edgefield SC and 95.7 in Bowman GA. The modification application was dismissed with the sale filing.
