‘Cigar Dave’ Zeplowitz will end his weekly syndicated show after 25 years at the end of the month.
“Cigar Dave” debuted on 620 WSUN Tampa in July 1995 and entered syndication in December of that year. Currently airing on 150+ stations, “The Cigar Dave Show” describes itself as “focused on Alpha Male Lifestyle pursuits including cigars, spirits, grilling, sports, travel, cars, and aviation while upholding personal liberties from the Pleasure Police”.
While stepping down from the syndicated show, Zeplowitz will launch two new daily podcasts on July 1. “The Cigar Dave Podcast” will focus on cigar connoisseur content, while “Bold Alpha” will be about the alpha male lifestyle.

On the Saturday, June 6th, 2020 edition of the Cigar Dave Show, creator and host “Cigar Dave” Zeplowitz announced his weekly two-hour terrestrial radio show will end June 27 , 2020, and immediately transition to daily on-demand podcast distribution.
Two daily podcasts will launch with Zeplowitz as host on July 1, 2020: The Cigar Dave
podcast for cigar connoisseur related content, and a new podcast entitled Bold Alpha for Alpha Male lifestyle related content.Both podcasts will be integrated with a new e-commerce platform to distribute and sell male lifestyle products featured on the podcasts.
Zeplowitz stated, “The 25th Anniversary of the Cigar Dave Show is the perfect time to transition from a weekly two-hour terrestrial format to more timely daily podcasts aligned with our new e-commerce platform. As listening and shopping habits have changed dramatically, so are we.
