iHeartMedia flipped Hot AC “93.9 MIA” WMIA-FM Miami Beach FL to 1990s Hits “Totally 93.9” at noon today.
The station will feature two 90 minute blocks commercial-free at 8am and 5pm under iHeartMedia Miami SVP/Programming Rob Miller. Core artists include Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, NSYNC, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, and Destiny’s Child.
WMIA-FM registered a 2.8 share in the June 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings up from a 1.9 in May.

iHeartMedia Miami announced today the debut of the new Totally 93.9, All 90s, All the Time. Totally 93.9 will be the ultimate destination for South Floridians to experience the greatest hits of the 90s and is also available everywhere listeners are, on the devices they use most, via the iHeartRadio app.
To commemorate that legendary decade, Totally 93.9 will play the biggest hits from the top decade-defining artists including the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, NSYNC, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Destiny’s Child and more. In addition, listeners can also expect two 90-minute commercial-free music sweeps to start and end each workday-weekdays at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The 90s decade helped define the key tastes and traits of Gen X and the early millennial generation and was a significant time for new technology, the worldwide web, fashion, movies, TV and music.
