Following the departure of Carla Marie and Anthony this weekend, iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KBKS Tacoma/Seattle has announced the debut of “The Jubal Show” in August.
Jubal Fresh joins KBKS after departing the syndicated “Brooke & Jubal” based at Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV Seattle in April.
Jubal will be joined by his wife Alex Fresh on the new show and other cast members to named later. The move marks a return to KBKS for Jubal as he began his career as part of the “Bender & Jackie” show on the station before moving to KQMV in 2011. The move to KBKS places him in direct competition with the remainder of the now “Brooke & Jeffrey” show on KQMV.
In the the June 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings, KQMV was fifth in the Seattle/Tacoma market with a 5.0 share while KBKS was twenty-first with a 1.8.
KBKS 106.1 KISS FM announced today the debut of “The Jubal Show,” starring Jubal, one of Seattle’s most popular and renowned radio personalities and stand-up comedians. “The Jubal Show” will broadcast weekday mornings from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will debut August 2020.
Jubal is a marquee talent, with a proven track record of driving ratings and revenue both locally and nationally. After 10 years of captivating listeners around the Seattle region with his highly successful syndicated Contemporary Hit Radio morning show, Jubal returns home to where it all began at 106.1 KISS FM, where he spent the first several years of his career. He will be joined by his wife, Alex Fresh, and additional hosts to be named at a later date.
