Beasley Media has announced the appointment of Scott Jameson as Operations Manager for their Detroit cluster and Program Director of Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX.
Jameson most recently spent eight years as Operations Manager of Cumulus Minneapolis, PD of Classic Rock 92.5 KQRS and VP/Classic Rock for the company until his exit in January. He has also programmed AAA “92.9 Dave-FM” WZGC Atlanta and VP/Adult Rock for CBS Radio from 2009-2012, spent fifteen years as OM/PD of Classic Rock “Q95” WFBQ and Rock “103X” WRZX Indianapolis, and programmed “KY102” KYYS Kansas City.
Jameson fills the opening created by Jerry ‘JT’ Tarrants departure earlier this month.
Beasley Media Group announces Scott Jameson has been named Director of Programming of Beasley Media Group’s Detroit-based radio cluster. In his new role, Scott will be responsible for overseeing the programming of WRIF-FM, WCSX-FM, WMGC-FM, WDMK-FM and the Praise Network. He will begin his new position on Monday, August 3, 2020.
Jameson most recently served as Cumulus Media’s Vice President of Classic Rock Programming, Program Director of heritage classic rock station KQRS-FM and Operations Manager of KQRS-FM, KXXR-FM & WGVX-FM in Minneapolis.
