MARC Radio has announced the addition of Jerry Butler as Local Sales Manager for its operations in Gainesville/Ocala FL.

Butler joins MARC from MusicMaster Inc. where he has served as VP/Sale since June 2014. He also served as Director of Programming for the University of Florida’s commercial and non-commercial broadcast properties in the market from 2011-2014 and adjunct lecturer for the university’s radio management classes until last year. He has also been Market Manager for Townsquare Billings MT, Cumulus Albany GA, Williams Broadcasting Enid OK and KEYB Media Specialties Altus OK and worked on-air at KATT Oklahoma City.

Broadcasting executive Jerry Butler has joined MARC Radio to lead its local sales team in Florida’s Gainesville-Ocala market.

Butler brings decades of industry experience to MARC Radio stations and will advise local advertisers on the most effective use of their marketing dollars with strategic “formulas for success” combining on-air and digital marketing. Most recently vice president of sales at Music Master, Butler is especially enthusiastic about the potential of North Florida’s Gainesville-Ocala region. “MARC Radio and I share the same vision for this market,” said Butler. “Our goal is to guide the local advertising community on how best to earn impressive returns on their investments in any, or all, of our radio station formats,” he said.
