iHeartMedia’s newly launched “Rock 95.5” WCHI-FM Chicago has revealed its first on-air staffer.
Angi Taylor will move across the hall from co-hosting mornings at CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC to take on the morning slot at 95.5. Taylor has spent her career mostly in CHR co-hosting mornings at KDWB Minneapolis from 1997-2002 and WIOQ Philadelphia from 2002-2008 before joining WKSC as part of morning shows with Drex and since 2011 Christopher ‘Fred’ Frederick. Fred will continue to host mornings at WKSC.
WCHI-FM is seeking multiple other on-air positions with job postings up for APD/middays, evening host, producer, and part-timers.
iHeartMedia Chicago announced today that Angi Taylor will be the Morning Show Host of ROCK 95 FIVE, Chicago’s Rock Station. “The Angi Taylor Show” is set to debut in Fall 2020 and broadcast weekday mornings from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
ROCK 95 FIVE is excited to launch a new live and local morning show with Chicago market veteran personality Angi Taylor. Taylor has been entertaining Chicagoans as host of iHeartMedia Chicago’s 103.5 KISS-FM “Fred+Angi Morning Show” since 2011. Prior to joining 103.5 KISS-FM in 2008 as morning show contributor, Taylor hosted mornings at iHeartMedia’s Q102 Philadelphia and KDWB Minneapolis.
