Bud & Broadway Added At KVOO Tulsa For Afternoons

Following their addition in mornings at KXXY-FM Oklahoma City, Suite Radio’s “Bud and Broadway” have added a new affiliate in Tulsa.

Griffin Communications Country 98.5 KVOO will begin airing the program in afternoons starting Monday, December 7. The move marks a return to the market for the duo, who previously hosted mornings and then afternoons at iHeartMedia’s “106.1 The Twister” KTGX before joining WIL-FM St. Louis in 2016.

The addition of Bud & Broadway follows the hiring of former WSIX Nashville afternoon hosts Tige & Daniel to join incumbent morning host Amber Glaze.

Griffin Communications and 98.5 KVOO announced today that Bud and Broadway (Bud Ford and Jerry Broadway), will be bringing their award-winning country show to KVOO starting December 7.
“I have admired the talent of Bud and Broadway as a competitor and feel very lucky to have them on a legendary station like KVOO,” said Steve Hunter, Griffin Radio Director of Operations. “Combined with our team of incredibly talented people, especially our new morning show, I know this will be a lot of fun.”
Bud and Broadway have been making their listeners laugh with their witty and impromptu comedic delivery since their first broadcast together over 10 years ago on WTVY-FM in Dothan, Alabama. Since then, they’ve hosted their show on KTGX-FM in Tulsa and then most recently on WIL-FM in St. Louis.
“We couldn’t be any more excited about returning to Tulsa radio,” said Broadway. “We plan on picking up exactly where we left off the last time we were on the air! And as if it wasn’t already good enough, we get to work with our friends Tige, Daniel and Amber. 2020 has been rough, but it’s ending on a high note!”

Bud and Broadway will host weekday afternoons from 3-7 p.m. on KVOO.
