Tim ‘Rayne” Rainey has exited as Program Director and morning co-host at Entercom CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL Sacramento after a little over five years.
Rainey joined the station in October 2015 after previously programming “98.7 Amp Radio” WDZH Detroit from 2012-2015 and “Radio Now 100.9” WNOU Indianapolis from 2007-2011 and on-air in Tulsa, Reno and Las Vegas. He originally programmed “The End” CHR brand on 107.9 KDND and Hot AC “Star 106.5” KUDL until the brands were merged in 2017 following the surrender of the 107.9 license. Rainey joined “The Wake Up Call” with Gavin & Katie in May 2017.
Michael ‘Big Mic’ Buhrman, PD/afternoon host at Rhythmic CHR 102.5 KSFM has added the programming duties at KUDL.
Rainey writes, “It was an honor to serve at the helm of such a legendary station for the last 5 years. I’m thankful to continue to learn and grow from the programming side as well as leading a #1 rated morning show for the first time in my career. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing on-air team at KUDL, which I have no doubt, will continue their success in this new direction.
