920 WGHQ/92.5 W223CR Kingston will launch Soft Oldies “Magic 92.5” duplicating the format heard on 590 WROW/100.5 W263CG Albany. The brand is being promoted as playing “Great Songs and Magic Memories” from pop vocalists of the 50s through 80s.
1260 WBNR/96.5 W243EM Beacon and 1420 WLNA Peekskill will begin simulcasting Classic Hits 92.9 WBPM Saugerties/Kingston. The move will expand the coverage of WBPM’s programming into the southern portions of the Hudson Valley with 1260/96.5 covering the Newburgh area and 1420 adding northern Westchester County.
The three AMs will continue to carry Army sports.
