Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP maintains its lead down 12.2 to 11.3. 🎄 iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH is up 8.7 to 10.1, which is up from its 8.7 share in Holiday 2024. Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU drops 10.9 to 9.8. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR is off 6.0 to 5.9. iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC dips 5.2 to 4.8.

🎄 Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS is up 3.5 to 4.5. Cumulus Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL gains 3.4 to 4.1.

Classical 90.9 WETA-FM falls 4.6 to 3.5.

Manning Broadcasting Classic Hits “106.9 The Eagle” WWEG rises 0.4 to 1.0. That puts the station, mainly targeting the Hagerstown and Frederick markets ahead of four multiple commercial band FMs including Audacy Sports “106.7 The Fan” WJFK-FM (1.0 to 0.9), Christian AC “K-Love” 107.3 WLVW (steady at 0.8), Business News “Bloomberg 99.1” WDCH (0.4 to 0.5) and Radio One’s new Spanish CHR “Latino 104.1” WDCJ (down 0.4 to 0.1).

Boston

🎄 Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX rises 10.3 to 13.5, which is down from its 15.4 share last year. Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM inches up 6.2 to 6.3. iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ is up 4.6 to 4.8. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX gains 4.4 to 4.7 to tie for fourth with sister Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM (4.6 to 4.7).

Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR is down 5.3 to 4.6. iHeart CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM dips 5.3 – 4.9 – 4.5.

Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB is up 3.4 to 3.8. Northeast Broadcasting AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV climbs 2.6 to 3.4. Beasley Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 96.9” WBQT slides 3.7 – 2.8 – 2.3. iHeart Country “101.7 The Bull” WBWL falls 2.0 – 1.7 – 1.2.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Cox Media Group Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ holds its lead 7.3 to 7.4 with sister Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT steady at a 6.6 share. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF is up 5.1 to 5.6. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR drops 5.9 to 5.0. iHeartMedia Bilingual AC “Magic 93.9” WMIA-FM dips 5.3 to 4.8.

Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ drops 5.7 to 4.6.

Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR gains 2.5 to 3.3. Audacy Rhythmic Throwbacks “Power 96” WPOW-FM is up 2.8 – 3.0 – 3.3.

🎄 For the second year in a row, no station in Miami went all-Christmas.

Audacy Alternative “107.7 The End” KNDD jumps 2.8 to 3.8. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO rises 3.2 to 3.8.
