Delta Media Sports “103.7 The Game” KLWB-FM Carencro/Lafayette LA has announced the addition of David Grubb as afternoon host.
“Crunch Time” will air from 4-6pm weekdays starting Monday, June 28 replacing “Bumper To Bumper Sports with Ben Love” following Love’s departure from the station last month. Grubb previously hosted at iHeartMedia’s 1280 WODT New Orleans in 2019-20 and serves as an analyst on Tulane University men’s basketball broadcasts. After spending his early career in televison, Grubb held communications roles for multiple political campaigns and entities in Louisiana before moving into public relations and then becoming a sports writer and then radio host.
103.7 The Game (KLWB) is proud to announce that David Grubb is joining the Acadiana’s Sports Station as the host of our new afternoon sports talk show “Crunch Time” which will air weekday afternoons from 4-6 starting Monday, June 28. Grubb will also serve as a content creator for the station’s website http://www.1037thegame.com.

Grubb has been involved with sports journalism for nearly two decades.
After growing up in New Orleans, David got his start at WXII-TV in Winston-Salem, N.C., working as a production assistant. He got his first opportunity in front of the camera at KLAX in Alexandria as a sports reporter and photographer, followed by a stint as a reporter/anchor at WGGB in Springfield, Mass.
After a decade in education and marketing, Grubb returned to working in sports media in 2013, joining the staff of SportsNOLA.com, covering the New Orleans Pelicans, LSU, and high school football.
In eight years since then, Grubb has served as a writer for Crescent City Sports, The Bird Writes, and most recently MLBbro.com. In July of 2019, Grubb debuted his own daily sports talk show “Hard in the Paint with David Grubb” which transitioned into a podcast in 2020, and served as a color commentator for Tulane University men’s and women’s basketball last season.
