iHeartMedia has conducted a coordinated flip of over 80 local market signals to Christmas music today.

The company also announced it will host the second annual iHeartRadio Holiday Special as a virtual concert hosted by Mario Lopez and featuring performances by Kelly Clarkson, Michael Bublé, Train and Pentatonix. The show will air across the company’s AC, Hot AC and Classic Hits stations as well as a video stream on the company’s YouTube and Facebook accounts.

In addition to the previously reported flip of 96.7 WBZY Union City/Atlanta to commercial-free Christmas and “Y93” KYYY Bismarck dropping its branding after 46 years today, the list of stations that went all-Holiday hits mostly includes many stations that conduct the move annually.

Every holiday season, iHeartMedia converts music radio stations in its key markets to all Christmas music through Christmas Day. This season, iHeartMedia’s annual station flip to Christmas music kicks off today, November 5 at 5 p.m. local time, with more than 80 stations across the country broadcasting and streaming the season’s festive music from today’s biggest artists as well as holiday classics from Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and more around-the-clock.
