Jeff Cavanaugh Departs 105.3 The Fan's G-Bag Nation

Audacy Sports “105.3 The Fan” KRLD-FM Dallas is losing a member of its afternoon “G-Bag Nation” show.

Jeff Cavanaugh has announced he will be departing the station after 11 and a half years with the station. He joined the station in 2010 and moved to afternoons with the remainder of the “G-Bag Nation” show in 2019 after a long run in middays. Gavin Dawson, Lucious Alexander and Bryan Broaddus will continue on in the afternoon slot.

In his announcement, Cavanaugh states that he doesn’t have the same love of doing the show every day that he once had writing, “The thing that energizes me now is trying to build something by myself. So I’m going to try it. I want to be happy, and I’ve been been struggling with that at work lately.” He plans on doing a nightly show on YouTube from 7-8pm Central time and continue hosting the NFL Draft focused “Trust The Tape” podcast with Broaddus.
