iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 101.3” KIOI San Francisco is making a change in mornings as Corey Foley joins the station as co-host to Marcus Najera, while Sandy Stec relocates to Los Angeles.
Foley most recently co-hosted mornings at Alpha Media AAA 101.9 KINK Portland from 2017-2020. She began her career at “Wild 98.7” WLLD Tampa and later served as co-host of the “Dave Ryan Morning Show” at KDWB Minneapolis from 2003 to 2007, “Ken, Corey & Eddie Show” on Country “95.7 The Wolf” KBWF San Francisco from 2008 to 2011, and “Foley & Thunder” on “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston from 2011 to 2014.
Stec, who has been part of the KIOI morning show since 2012, will remain with iHeartMedia in her other role as afternoon host on AC 103.5 KOST Los Angeles. She will be relocating to that city while focusing on her stand-up comedy career.
iHeartMedia San Francisco’s STAR 101.3 (KIOI-FM), a Hot Adult Contemporary station featuring hits from the 2000’s, 90’s and more, announced today that Corey Foley will join Marcus to host the morning drive show “Marcus and Corey,” effective June 3. “Marcus and Corey” will broadcast weekdays from 6-10 a.m.
Foley most recently co-hosted mornings on KINK-FM in Portland. Her previous morning show experience includes “The Dave Ryan Show “(KDWB-FM, Minneapolis), “Foley & Thunder” (KILT-FM, Houston), “The Morning Freak Show” (WLLD-FM, Tampa Bay), as well as previous Bay Area experience as one third of the “Ken, Corey & Eddie Show” on 95.7 The Wolf in San Francisco.
Foley takes over as co-host for Sandy Stec, who will re-locate to Los Angeles to continue as host of afternoon drive on iHeartMedia Los Angeles’ KOST 103.5 and focus on her burgeoning stand-up comedy career.
