Following the move of Classic Hits “K-Jewel” from 105.5 to 99.3 on May 30, One Putt Broadcasting will launch Classic Country “The Legend 105.5” KWDO San Joaquin on Monday, July 4 at 6am.
Geoff Emery joins the station to host mornings. Emery previously spent 20 years at Buck Owens Broadcasting’s 550 KUZZ/107.9 KUZZ-FM Bakersfield mostly as morning show producer and co-host until moving to middays in 2020 before departing the station in May 2021.
Toni Marie, who hosted afternoons on Cumulus Media’s “103.3 Country” WKDF Nashville until relocating back to California for family purposes last fall, will serve as Program Director and host afternoons from 2-6pm. She has also served as APD/midday host at “95.5 The Wolf” KWJJ Portland and “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas, and Music Director for KUZZ-FM and “97.3 The Bull” KRJK Bakersfield.
