Relevant Radio is selling in St. Louis and buying in Tucson.
Relevant Radio sells 1380 KXFN/105.3 K287BY St. Louis to The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod for $570,000. The buyer owns 850 KFUO Clayton MO and holds a CP for 89.7 KFUO-FM Troy MO. KFUO applied earlier this month to move to the tower site owned by KXFN for its nighttime array.
The Catholic operator will purchase 104.9 KWCX-FM Tanque Verde and 104.9 K285DL Tucson from KZLZ Inc. for $1.1 million. KZLZ just closed on the acquisition of K285DL as part of a swap with Lotus Communications to resolve the displacement of that translator from the move-in of KWCX-FM.
Augusta Radio Fellowship will purchase Hot AC “Variety Hits 92.1” WBHC-FM and 1270 WHGS/96.1 W241DA Hampton SC from Bocock Communications for $350,000.

Lehigh Valley Community Broadcasters Association sells 93.7 W229AO Fogelsville PA to Major Keystone LLC for $60,000. W229AO will rebroadcast 1600 WHOL Allentown as part of the buyer’s Hip Hop “Loud Radio” network with 106.9 W295CR Allentown and 1400 WEST/99.5 W258DV Easton.
