Gray Television will flip News/Talk 105.1 WGEM-FM Quincy IL to Sports on Wednesday, March 1.
“SportsRadio 105.1” WGEM-FM will assume the programming that has been on 1440 WGEM/98.9 W255CY Quincy. The AM has been off the air since June 2022 due to equipment failure, but the translator apparently continued to operate. They will cease operations on March 1.
WGEM-FM will carry the local “WGEM SportsCenter” hosted by Ryan Mumma from 7-9am weekdays and ESPN Radio programming in all other dayparts. Play-by-play will consist of the St. Louis Cardinals, Quincy University, and area high schools.
The WGEM stations are the only radio properties in Gray Television’s portfolio.
