Cox Media Group AC “B98.5” WSB-FM Atlanta has appointed Abby Jessen as Assistant Director of Branding and Programming and midday host.
Jessen joins WSB-FM from sister Hot AC “Mix 96.5 ” KRAV Tulsa where she has served as PD since September 2020. She began her career in 2015 at the company’s Athens GA cluster as a news and traffic anchor and served as APD of Country 106.1 WNGC from 2017 to 2020 and Director of Branding and Programming for News/Talk 1340 WGAU/98.7 W254CJ and Variety Hits “103.7 Chuck-FM” WXKT from 2018 to 2020.
At WSB-FM, Jessen takes the midday slot that had been held by Charly Morgan since 2017. Morgan has moved to mornings at Cox AC “Magic 102.1” WGMG Crawford/Athens.
Cox Media Group (“CMG”) Atlanta announced that Abby Jessen has been named Assistant Director of Branding and Programming and Middays Host for B98.5 (WSB-FM) in Atlanta, GA, effective Monday, March 6, 2023.
Abby Jessen is coming to Atlanta from CMG Tulsa, where she was the Director of Branding and Programming and Afternoon Drive host on Mix 96.5 (KRAV). Jessen is an Atlanta native and graduated from the University of Georgia, where she launched her career in radio as a News and Traffic Anchor with CMG Athens. Jessen will continue to host nights on 106.1 WNGC in Athens, GA.
