Following the announced move of Jeff Parsons and Lori Voornas to sister AC 94.9 WHOM starting Monday, May 15, Townsquare Media CHR “Q97.9” WJBQ Portland ME has announced the arrival of Kristina ‘Krissy T’ Williamson for mornings.
Krissy most recently was hosting weekends at Saga Hot AC “Coast 93.1” WMGX Portland. After starting her career at WODS Boston, she first established herself in the market co-hosting mornings at Mainestream Media Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.7” WHTP from 2015 to 2019. She then moved to Detroit with brief stints hosting nights at iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI, co-hosting mornings at Cumulus Media’s “New Country 93.1” and local Sports startup Woodward Sports until a Cumulus lawsuit over breach of contract.
Townsquare Media today announced that popular Portland personality Krissy T will take the morning host reins at the market’s Top 40 station, 97.9FM WJBQ. She joins from Hot Adult Contemporary WMGX-FM.

Ms. T takes over for 21-year morning mainstays Jeff Parsons and Lori Voornas, who migrate to Townsquare AC 94,9 WHOM hosting mornings staring May 15.
