Kristina Williamson is exiting mornings at Mainestream Media Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.7” WHTP Kennebunkport/Portland ME to join iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI Detroit under the new on-air name of ‘Krissy T’.
Williamson joined WHTP in late 2015 as afternoon host and quickly moved to mornings alongside Program Director Ryan Deelon. She also served as as fill-in host at Entercom CHR “103.3 Amp Radio” WODS Boston and previously worked in a similar role at iHeart’s “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN and “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM Boston.
iHeartMedia Detroit announced today that Krissy T will host nights for Channel 95.5, Detroit’s #1 Hit Music Station, effective immediately. Krissy T will broadcast weekday nights from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Krissy T will keep listeners going all night as the station broadcasts top-charting hits and songs from artist including Ariana Grande, Khalid, Halsey and Post Malone.
“We love Krissy’s sound and energy and know that she will bring those key ingredients to the night show,” said Tony Travatto, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Detroit. “We have been searching for somebody that will reinvent the way night time radio is done in Detroit and Krissy is that person.”

Krissy T joins the iHeartMedia Detroit market from Hot 104.7 in Portland, Maine, where she most recently served as the morning co-host. She also served as part-time, swing and night show co-host for WODC in Boston. She began her career at WJMN/WXKS in Boston and is a graduate of Merrimack College in Boston.
