Audacy Hot AC “105.1 The Buzz” KRSK Molalla/Portland OR has announced the promotion of APD/MD/afternoon host Jamie Tanchyk to Brand Manager.
Tanchyk joined KRSK in February 2020 after previously serving as APD/midday host at Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP Seattle as ‘Tanch’ from 2014 until November 2021. He began his career in Albany NY with stints as night host at Rhythmic “Jamz 96.3” WAJZ and APD/nights at CHR “Fly 92” WFLY. He then moved back to WAJZ as Program Director and would also program AAA “104.9 The Peak” WZMR, 90s Hits “105.7 Crush-FM” WQSH and Hip Hop “Hot 99.1” WQSH-HD2 during his time in the market, while also hosting weekends at CHR “103.3 Amp Radio” WODS Boston.
Tanchyk takes the KRSK programming duties from Scott Roddy as Roddy focuses on his role as Regional Vice President of Audacy Country programming. Roddy had joined Audacy as Program Director of KRSK and Country “99.5 The Wolf” KWJJ-FM Portland in October 2019.
Audacy has promoted Jamie Tanchyk to Brand Manager of 105.1 The Buzz (KRSK-FM) in Portland. In this role, Tanchyk will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations, and branding.

Tanchyk joined 105.1 The Buzz in 2020 as afternoon host, Assistant Program Director and Music Director. He previously served as afternoon host and Assistant Program Director for Audacy’s Hot 103.7 in Seattle (2013). Tanchyk’s radio career began in 2006 at Jamz 96.3 in Albany, NY as a night host. In 2007, he served as night host and Assistant Program Director for sister station Fly 92.3 before returning to Jamz as midday host and Program Director. In 2010, Tanchyk launched and programmed Hot 99.1 and Pop Crush 105.7 in Albany while serving as Saturday afternoon host for 103.3 AMP Radio in Boston. Tanchyk also launched and programmed The Peak in Albany in 2012.
