Bold Gold Media Group will flip 1240 WVOS Liberty NY and translators 92.5 W223DB Liberty and 94.9 W235AW Monticello from a simulcast of Classic Hits 95.9 WVOS-FM to News/Talk on Monday, June 26.
The new station will be anchored by “Ciliberto & Friends” hosted by Paul Ciliberto, which will move from sister Country “Thunder 102.1/104.5” WDNB Jeffersonville/WHNB Hancock. He will be joined on the show by News Director Mike Sakell. The remainder of the station’s lineup will include The Dave Ramsey Show as well as unannounced programming from Fox News Radio, Premiere Networks, and Red Apple Media.
Bold Gold Media Group has announced the debut of their new local radio station, Catskills News Talk on Sullivan County’s first radio station, 1240 WVOS-AM. The news/talk format will also be heard on two new local FM frequencies, 92.5 FM and 94.9 FM. WVOS-AM which celebrated its 75th Anniversary last year, will be broadcasting again as the Voice of Sullivan and the Catskills. The station will become the new home of the legacy morning show, Ciliberto & Friends starring popular Radio Personality Paul Ciliberto, which will form the backbone of the station’s programming; along with greatly expanded local news provided by legendary News Director Mike Sakell.
