Beasley Media Group has announced the promotion of Patti Taylor to VP/Market Manager of their Detroit properties.
Taylor previously served as General Sales Manager of their cluster and Sales Manager of 94.7 WCSX and 101.1 WRIF since joining then-Greater Media Detroit in 2013. She also spent fourteen years at CBS Radio Detroit as an Account Executive and Local Sales Manager.
Taylor succeeds ‘Mac Edwards’ McTindal as he relocates to the company’s Charlotte NC cluster. Edwards has led Beasley Detroit since the company closed on its purchase of the stations from Greater Media in November 2016. He previously spent 25 years at the company’s Fayetteville NC properties rising from on-air at Country 95.7 WKML to Program Director to VP/Programming & Operations and then to VP/Market Manager in 2007. In Charlotte, Edwards fills the opening created by Bill Schoening’s departure last fall.

Taylor most recently served as the Director of Sales of the Motor City radio cluster over the past several years, before working as the General Sales Manager of the cluster as well as Sales Manager at both WCSX-FM and WRIF-FM in the Motor City. Prior to joining Beasley, Taylor was a Sales Manager with CBS Radio in Detroit.

Taylor succeeds Mac Edwards, who was recently named to oversee the company’s Charlotte, North Carolina-based radio properties.
