Bradford Tobin resigned from his positions as President, Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of MediaCo Holding Inc. on July 11.
In an SEC filing, MediaCo noted that to facilitate the transition of Mr. Tobin’s duties, he will remain an employee of the company, serving in an advisory position, through August 11, 2023 and then a consulting agreement until November 11. Tobin joined MediaCo in August 2020 as General Counsel after serving as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Standard Diversified Inc. He also was SVP/General Counsel for RadioShack, managing Standard’s investment through bankruptcy and an Operations and Bankruptcy specialist for Silver Point Capital. He was then promoted to President/COO in July 2021.
Succeeding Tobin in the Chief Operating Officer position is Kudjo Sogadzi. Sogadzi joins Mediaco Holding from the company’s largest shareholder Standard General LP, where he has served as an investment analyst since 2019. He has also held positions as a Principal at OS Global LLC from 2015 to 2019, Hedge Fund Analyst at EnTrust Global, and serves on the board of Gloria Maris LLC.
Mediaco Holding owns Hip Hop “Hot 97” WQHT and Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS New York.
