Audacy Sports “1320 ESPN” KIFM Sacramento 12-4pm hosts Damien ‘D-Lo’ Barling and Kenny ‘KC’ Caraway will pull double-duty hosting afternoons from 3-7pm on Rhythmic CHR 102.5 KSFM starting Monday, August 14.
Barling began his career at KSFM as an intern in 2001 rising through the ranks until joining the station’s morning show in 2004 and then middays in 2007. After leaving radio in 2008, he would join Sports 1140 KHTK in 2016 co-hosting 12-3pm with Jason Ross. After joining Audacy in November 2019 in sales, he and Caraway would launch their midday show on KIFM in September 2020.
Caraway has hosted multiple Sacramento Kings podcasts and has worked at other radio stations including 97.5 KDEE-LP Sacramento.
Audacy announces “D-Lo & KC” as the new afternoon show for KSFM 102.5 (KSFM-FM) in Sacramento. The show, starring Damien Barling and Kenny Caraway, will be heard weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. PT beginning August 14. The duo will continue to host middays on sister station ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM).

Barling’s radio career launched in 2001 when he began an internship at KSFM 102.5. Working through the ranks for several years, Barling’s internship turned into a part-time/fill-in host and, in January of 2005, he became part of a morning show that would enjoy huge ratings success over the next several years. In 2009, he launched a sports management company that oversaw the career of several WNBA athletes. He returned to Sacramento radio in 2014 and, in April 2016, he headed up the launch of “The Lo-Down.” The show was a ratings success, consistently finishing in the top five of the 25-54 demographic while rating No. 1 in the 18-34 demographic.
A native of Sacramento, Carraway attended Cal State East Bay, which opened the gateway to his decorated broadcasting career as a podcaster, FM sports radio host, podcast/radio producer and content curator, and co-host for The Athletic’s Sacramento Kings podcast.
D-Lo and KC took the air for the first time on August 17, 2020. Still at the height of the pandemic, the two built their chemistry from their home studios through video conferencing. Less than six months in, the show expanded from two hours to its current four-hour format.
