G Networks’ “Back In The Day Replay” hosted by Paco Lopez has been added at Audacy Classic Hip Hop “94.7 The Block” WXBK Newark/New York.
The show will air on Saturday mornings from 7-10am and marks a return to New York for Lopez, who served as APD/afternoon host at “Hot 97” WQHT from 1993 to 1995 and afternoon host at Rhythmic AC “Mix 102.7” WNEW from 2004 to 2006. Lopez launched the syndicated Classic Hip Hop show in June 2022 focusing on R&B and Hip Hop from 1990 to 2009.
Lopez has held on-air and programming roles across the country including WPGC Washington, KKFR Phoenix, KOAS Las Vegas, WJHM and WOCL Orlando and WSNA Memphis. He also currently hosts nights on Christian AC “Z88.3” WPOZ Orlando.

Well, kind of… His weekly three-hour throwback show “The Back In The Day Replay®” with Paco Lopez was just added at Audacy WXBK, 94.7 The Block.
Paco Lopez was originally in New York in 1993 as the APD/PM Drive Air Personality at Hot 97 when the station flipped to Hip Hop and R&B and he broke the songs currently on the show. Skip Dillard, The Block’s Brand Manager said, “Paco’s knowledge and love for the music he played on NYC radio in the 90’s makes him a perfect fit for the Block!
