P&A will acquire Custer County Community Broadcasting’s Oldies 1050 KMTA/95.3 K237DW and Classic Hits 92.3 KYUS-FM Miles City MT, Dickinson-Belfield Broadcasting’s Country “I94” 93.9 KXDI Belfield and Classic Rock “Q-Rock 95.7” KQLZ New England ND, Glendive Broadcasting’s Oldies/AC 1400 KXGN/103.1 K276GO Glendive MT, Magic Air Communications’ Country 96.5 KDZN Glendive MT, Miles City/Forsyth Broadcasting Inc.’s Classic Country 1250 KIKC/94.5 K233BL and Country “Kik Country” 101.3 KIKC-FM Forsyth MT, Sidney Community Broadcasting’s Classic Rock “Eagle 93.1” KGCX Sidney MT, and Williston Community Broadcasting’s Country “98.5 Coyote Country” KXWI and Variety Hits “101.1 Jack-FM” KDSR Williston ND.
Semora Broadcasting sells Gospel 1540 WYNC Yanceyville NC to True Word Media for $135,000. An LMA took effect on February 1.
John Fredericks’ Disruptor Media converts its LMA of Conservative Talk “Newstalk 1650” WJFV Portsmouth/Norfolk VA to a $275,000 purchase. Fredericks has operated WJFV via LMA since August 2022.
Denisse Hernandez’s Prime Broadcasting acquires Spanish CHR “Ritmo 99.9” 1460 WQXM/99.9 W260DA Bartow FL from DRC Broadcasting for $170,000. The buyer has been operating WQXM via Time Brokerage Agreement since April 1, 2023.
Translator Sales
Iowa Public Radio buys 94.1 K231DI Des Moines from Youngers Colorado Broadcasting for $100,000. The translator is supposed to immediately begin rebroadcasting IPR’s 90.1 WOI-FM Ames/Des Moines, but they have not specified which of their programming services.
Salem Media Group sells the former Gospel “Rejoice 96.9” W245CH Travelers Rest/Greenville SC to Delmarva Educational Association for $355,000. Delmarva began operating the translator via Time Brokerage Agreement on November 1 as part of their Christian Preaching “Truth Network” via EMF’s 94.5 WKVG Greenville.
Seven Mountains Media purchases 99.7 W259DM Lebanon PA from Major Keystone for $115,000. W259DM is the former 99.3 W257BI Reading that was moved into Lebanon last month to rebroadcast Classic Hits “Wilbur 99.7” 1270 WLBR Lebanon.
Mahon Communications Inc. is buying 96.9 W245BG Cave Springs/Roanoke VA from Brent Epperson for $75,000. Mahon will use the translator to rebroadcast their Conservative Talk/Sports 910 WFJX/104.3 W282CK Roanoke.

Most likely Iowa Public Radio will rebroadcast the Classical service, which currently serves Des Moines on a couple of rimshots, with the central part of Des Moines getting spotty coverage. There’s no need to relay the main channel of WOI-FM (IPR News & Studio One), which puts a strong signal into the Des Moines metro from the (first) Alleman tower. WOI-FM-HD2 currently carries IPR Classical; I expect that this is what the translator will relay to fill in coverage holes in Des Moines. The full-time AAA “Studio One” service is exclusively online during the hours when the FM News & Studio One network is carrying news programming. The full-time news service is on the AM stations only.
