Following the end of “The Morning Mess” earlier this month, Audacy Gold CHR “B96” WBBM-FM Chicago launched “Moug and Karla Mornings” as John Moug joins the station alongside incumbent co-host Karla Hernandez today.
Moug most recently hosted mornings at Lotus’ “Star 101.5” KPLZ Seattle until exiting last August. He and Angie Parker previously also hosted mornings at Townsquare Hot AC “Mix 106” KCIX Boise. Moug previously hosted mornings at Alternative “91X” 91.1 XETRA-FM San Diego, Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Denver, and a syndicated show that aired in Hartford and New London CT, Burlington VT and Searcy AR. He has also had three stints at CHR 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas and a brief run in nights at “Hot 101.5” WPOI Tampa.
Hernandez was part of “The Morning Mess” at both “Live 101.5” KALV-FM Phoenix (with syndication to 97.1 KAMP-FM Los Angeles) and then WBBM-FM since January 2019. She previously served in promotions at KALV-FM.

As reported earlier this month, former morning co-host Jeana Shepard has moved to middays in place of Audacy national tracker Julia. The third member of the Morning Mess, Aneesh Ratan exited the station. Jordan ‘Dash’ Orman-Weiss, who joined WBBM-FM in July as afternoon host remains in place as does national host Josh ‘Bru’ Brubaker at night.
