My journey started back home in L.A. at Los Angeles City College wanting nothing more than to be a top radio broadcaster. I started my radio career at WDKX-FM in Rochester New York. I drove from L.A. in a 2 seat sports car with the promise of a $125 a week salary with no moving expenses and I didn’t care. I worked with some of the best broadcasters J. Thomas Smith, legendary TOP40 P.D. Bill Tanner, ratings guru Tom Birch, Duff Lindsey, Dave Allen and the legendary Jerry Rushin at WDKX, WMBM, WQAM, HOT105, 102Jamz and 99Jamz. The last 3 all between MIami and Orlando and all 3 reached #1 in the ratings! I’m friends with some of the top entertainers in the world. Still I find it unbelievable that I’m inducted into “The National Black Radio Hall Of Fame”. The feeling is surreal and I want to publicly thank everyone who voted for me. I’m still in shock!!!
