Press Communications has announced the addition of Valerie Segraves as morning news anchor for Classic Rock “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch/99.7 WBHX Tuckerton and Oldies “The Breeze” 1410 WHTG Eatontown NJ starting Monday, April 22.

Segraves returns to the New York area where she previously spent ten years as a newscaster and traffic reporter for CHR “Z100” WHTZ and for News 1010 WINS and others via Shadow Traffic. She also held television traffic reporter duties for WWOR-TV New York and later spent time with CNN Radio, The Weather Channel Radio Network, and co-hosted mornings at 96.1 WEJZ Jacksonville FL.

Vice President of Programming and WWZY morning host Robby Bridges stated, “Valerie is a world class talent and will be a really great addition to our team in the morning on The Boss.” Segraves commented, “My favorite thing about the shore, hands down, is the Boardwalk. And Springers Ice Cream! After all the summer rentals I had over the years, I’m so excited to be coming back. The Jersey Shore never leaves you, no matter where you may find yourself. Being on in the mornings with Robby and Rochelle feels like coming home.”
