After departing as Program Director and Morning Host at NRG Media Rhythmic CHR “Red 94.5” K233AN/KBBK-HD2 Lincoln NE in May, D-Wayne Taylor is returning to Alpha Media CHR 106.3 KFRX Lincoln to host mornings starting today.
Taylor, who previously spent eight years at KFRX from 2014 to 2022, is joining the station through a partnership between Alpha Media and the Whatever Collective events company that Taylor founded in 2015. The arrangement will see Whatever Collective’s DJs, emcees, photographers, videographers, and graphic/apparel designers work with Alpha Lincoln and partners on live events.
Taylor commented, “When I started my radio career, I couldn’t have imagined that the Collective I founded would find such a forward-thinking media partner. I founded Whatever Collective in the same year I started my career on KFRX, making for a serendipitous moment for me and all the talent under Whatever Collective.
