Cox Media Group Atlanta/Athens GA Vice President and Market Manager Jaleigh Long resigned from her position earlier this month.
Long joined Cox Atlanta in 2014 as General Sales Manager before being promoted to Director of Sales in 2017 and to VP/Market Manager for Atlanta and Athens in March 2021. She previously had a seven year stint as General Sales Manager for South Central Communications in Evansville In. Long also worked as an Account Executive for Susquehanna Radio in Indianapolis.
Friends of Georgia Radio reports that Long announced her exit in a staff meeting on November 7, one day before her departure. She told them,”“I’m so grateful for the amazing 20+ years in this industry and spending the last 11 with the talented team at CMG, and I’m especially thankful to Rob (Rob Babin/Ex. VP/Radio), and to CMG.”
