Delta Media Corporation Classic Country “Mustang 107.1” KOGM Opelousas/Lafayette LA is mourning the passing of Program Director/midday host Steve Wiley.

A native of upstate New York, Wiley has spent the majority of his career in Lafayette. He joined Delta Media in 2022 first serving as news and traffic reporter for the cluster before adding the duties at KOGM last October. He previously spent 23 years as Music Director and midday host at Townsquare Media AC 99.9 KTDY and worked at 96.5 KFTE among other stations in the market.

Delta Media Corporation VP/General Manager Johnette Cochran said, “Our hearts are broken by this news. Steve was a joy to work with—his off-the-wall comments always made everyone laugh. He will truly be missed here at Delta Media, as well as by his many radio families across Acadiana. This is a difficult loss for all who knew and loved him, including his devoted listeners.”
