Townsquare Media’s “Wow Country 104.3” KAWO Boise Brand Manager/afternoon host Kyle Matthews is exiting at the end of the week to join Steel City Media Country “Q104” KBEQ Kansas City as Music Director.

Matthews will also host an undetermined daypart when he starts at KBEQ in April. Matthews had joined KAWO in August 2022 after two stints at NRG Media Country “Froggy 98.1” KFGE Lincoln NE from 2016 to 2018 and 2019 until 2022. In between, he spent ten months as Imaging Director and midday host at Audacy’s “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG Riverside CA.
