After an over 50 year career in Sacramento radio, Tom Nakashima has retired from Audacy Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG.
Nakashima began his career at Rock “K108” 107.9 KXOA in 1974. He would remain at that station through its flips to AC and then to 70s based Classic Hits “Arrow 108” in 1994. When KXOA flipped to CHR “107.9 The End” KDND in 1998, Nakashima moved over to sister KSEG where he remained. He most recently had been hosting the 11pm hour.
Nakashima joined afternoon host Ken Anthony on Thursday to announce his retirement.
