Another person affected by last week’s cuts at the Milwaukee Radio Alliance has gone public with their departure as Melissa Jordan is out as midday host at AC “B93.3” WLDB Milwaukee.
Jordan had held the midday shift at WLDB since July 2015. She previously spent three years as APD/afternoon host at CTJ Communication’s Hot AC “Lake 96.1” WLKG Lake Geneva WI
She shared on Facebook, “What a run. I’m really heartbroken to say my time at the Milwaukee Radio Alliance and B93.3 is over. To go from strangers, to coworkers, to good friends, to family with this group of people has been the best thing radio could’ve ever done for me. I love them so much. I feel gratitude to the company and understand that tough decisions have to be made. I’m proud of the work that’s been done and even though change is tough- I’m gonna be just fine. I remember when I didn’t even want to move to Milwaukee- know it holds a place in my heart forever.” She can be reached at Melissa.limber@gmail.com.
Jordan joins Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM morning host Jonathan Adler in being affected by the cuts last week. At least two other on-air staffers have yet to publicly confirm their exits.
