Sound Management’s “Classic Rock 97.7” WYXX Goshen/South Bend IN returned to its heritage “97.7 ZOW” branding on-air as it brought back the WZOW call letters to the station.
No programming changes have accompanied the rebrand, nor has the station updated it graphical assets yet.
The WZOW call letters were originally used on the station from 1977 to 2006 when they were moved to their sister station on 102.3 New Carlisle and 97.7 became WOZW in a simulcast (with the WZOW calls returning to 97.7 from 2008 to 2011 and again in 2013-14). Following their 2011 flip to Classic Hits in 2011, the stations became “The Stream” WSSM/WSMM, the simulcast would break up in 2016 with 97.7 becoming “Rock 97.7” WYXX.
