Evanov Communications revamped CHR “Z103.5” CIDC-FM Orangeville/Toronto last week reemphasizing Dance music in its playlist.
Changing its positioning from “All The Hits” to “Feel The Beat”, CIDC-FM is promoting more Dance and European music in its playlist. The station has always been more Dance focused than most CHRs in North America, but this revamp sees it increase its emphasis on the genre. The station has also added mixshows at 9pm and 12am, and a 103 minute commercial-free block at 9am.
The music shift follows the October addition of Ronnie Stanton as Senior Brand Manager for CIDC-FM and AC “Lite 92.1” CKPC-FM Brantford ON. Stanton has held programming roles in Australia, Canada and the United States including roles as VP/Audio for Corus in Canada, VP/Programming for Alpha Media, and Chief Content Officer for Virgin Radio International. With Z103.5’s revamp, he has also joined Melanie Martin co-hosting the “Z Morning Zoo” in mornings.
