After the demise of Westwood One’s “Good Time Oldies” 24/7 syndicated format, Cumulus Media has debuted Classic Country “Nash Icon” on 104.1 KRBE-HD2 Houston.
KRBE-HD2 becomes the second Classic Country HD2 in Houston joining Radio One’s “Country Legends” 92.9 KKBQ-HD2, which features a local morning show hosted by Chuck Akers. KRBE-HD2 had served as the de-facto ‘flagship’ of the “Good Time Oldies” network since its launch in April 2014 following Westwood One ending its distribution of “Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel”.
