Audacy Country “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG San Bernardino/92.9 KXFG Menifee/KCBS-HD2 Los Angeles has debuted a new morning show as afternoon host Anthony Donatelli moves back to mornings to join Kelli Green.
The duo previously co-hosted mornings from December 2018 until August 2019. Green has been part of the KFRG morning show with multiple partners since 2011. Donatelli, who originally used the amphibious on-air name ‘Anthony Frogatelli’, has been with KFRG since 2014 and has spent time in overnights, afternoons, and weekends. He has also served as West Coast Region Digital Coordinator for Audacy and co-hosted a regional afternoon show with KFRG Brand Manager Heather Froglear on KFRG, KMLE Phoenix, KWJJ Portland, and KKWF Seattle.
Audacy Riverside/San Diego SVP/Market Manager Michael Valenzuela said, ““We’re excited to have Anthony join Kelli in the mornings. Together, they’ll bring vibrant energy that will foster even deeper connections with the Southern California community. We’re constantly seeking new ways to better serve our listeners and partners, and these exciting changes will enable us to deliver top-tier programming, powered by exceptional talent who are going to continue bringing engaging conversations while sharing the best country hits.”
Donatelli commented, “The only people I’ve been waking up this early for are my kids—and now, apparently, all of the Inland Empire. I’m excited for the opportunity and ready to bring the creativity, the laughs, and everything I’ve got to this show every day.”
Donatelli fills the morning slot most recently held by Guy David until Audacy’s layoffs last month. He is replaced in afternoons by Froglear, who had moved from 9am-12pm, while Donatelli had been out on paternity leave prior to his move to mornings.
